Landscaping and Curb Appeal

Watch on your mobile device >>

Have you ever seen a home that made you cringe? What about one that made you feel cool and relaxed? Chances are each initial impression had a lot to do with the landscaping of the home. What a home looks like on the outside literally influences how you feel on the inside.

Before: Is It Properly Landscaped?

When you purchase a new home, it’s important to keep both the landscape and the streetscape in mind. There are a few things to keep in mind from the moment you first look at any new home.

Here are a few things to look for:

Does it look appealing?
Does it look like it has been well cared for?
Are there plants and vegetation properly maintained?
Are there vines growing on the home that could potentially harm it?

Purchasing a home that has been properly maintained, as far as landscape goes, is important. Poor landscaping can negatively impact a home for years to come. Determining the shape a potential home is in before you purchase it is very important.

After: What to Do Post Purchase

At Celebrity Homes, we know landscaping is important in a new home. We give each new home a deciduous tree. This jump starts the landscaping process in your new home.

Typically during the first spring in a new home, you will add some mulch or rocks, as well as many other attractive landscaping elements to your new home. This helps add value to your home. It also adds a layer of satisfaction to you as a home owner, as well.

Many times the outside of the home is really what sets one home apart from the others. It’s frequently the first impression people have of you and your home. You should make it a good one and one that counts.

The proximity to where you will be spending a majority of your time is a primary consideration. This includes your place of work, where you will shop, where you will go for entertainment, and things of that nature.

Visit the Community at Different Times

Taking a look the community at different times of the day will be a much better reflection of what the neighborhood is truly made up of. Determine if the community is active in the mornings or maybe on the weekends. Which do you prefer? Does the neighborhood meet that standard?

When you visit a prospective neighborhood, you can also stop and talk to those who live there. Ask them pointed questions about if they enjoy the community. Inquire about what their favorite and least favorite thing about where they live.

Wired for a New Home

Watch on your mobile device >>

We frequently hear how more technologically advanced our society has become. So, why can’t a new home be even more advanced, from a technology perspective, than our last home?

Pre-Wired for Fun

A Better Way can pre-wire entertainment cables, security systems, speakers, and volume controls throughout your new home. Celebrity Homes offers this wiring throughout your home to make it easy to hook up all of your favorite electrical appliances.

Before you move in, we make it easy to hook up:

• DVD Player
• Video Game Player
• Cable
• Internet
• Sound system

This unique service allows for the wiring to be tucked away and out of sight. It also allows for this to already be hooked up when you move in, saving you both time and money. You can be connected once you move into your new home, literally within seconds. There is no need to look at unsightly cords either.

Wired for Sound

In addition to being wired for TV, cable, and Internet, we can also wire your new home for sound. That means we can hook up speakers in each room in your home, if that’s what you want. We can hook up the radio or whatever else you would like to this sound system. We can also run the sound system outdoors, too. This is perfect for outdoor summer parties.

Security System from the First Day

We can hook up your security system for your new home before you ever move in. That means your first night in your new home will be and feel as secure as possible. You can’t put a price on that, right?

Sometimes a security system is a big expense in a new home. But the pre-wired security systems we offer are actually very reasonably priced. The systems start at $795 for installation and can be as low $18 to maintain each month. In addition, you can discontinue service at any time, if you decide you don’t need it anymore.

Want to make your new home even more cutting edge when it comes to technology? Let us do all the hard work when it comes to the wiring before you even move in. Then, you can simply plug in your favorite appliances and begin enjoying your new secure home as quickly as possible.
