High Efficiency Furnace & AC

In each new Celebrity Homes home, there is a new high efficiency furnace and a high efficiency air conditioning unit. These units are 90% efficient. That means that 90% of the air leaving the unit is either hot or cold. Not only is this better for the environment, it’s also much better for your pocketbook, as well. This can and will go a long way in a very short period of time.

Energy Efficiency Taken to the Next Level

Celebrity Homes has taken it one step further and not let ourselves just be satisfied with an energy efficient AC and heating unit. We have also included “flex pipes” that run to our units. These are also much more energy efficient because you are not having as much air loss through the units and the pipes leading away from the units.

Energy Efficient Hot Water Heater

In addition to the energy efficient AC and heating unit, each Celebrity Homes home is also equipped with an energy efficient hot water heater, as well. This can go a long way in making a home as energy efficient as possible. It’s also overlooked in many other “energy efficient” homes.

Program Your Efficiency with a Programmable Thermostat

Do you really need to heat your home in the winter when no one is home? Why not set a program that knocks the temperature down when no one really needs it warm anyway? You can program it to warm the home back up a short time before you get home. This one simple device can go a long way to save both the environment and your pocketbook!

High Ceilings & Open Floor Plans – Not Just an Aesthetic Feature

We like the high 9 foot ceilings in our Celebrity Homes. But we have two reasons: they look stunning and they also allow us to put in more insulation to keep your home warm.

In addition, a more open floor plan also makes it easier for heating and cooling. Heating one large space is much easier for a heating unit than heating several small rooms. When you walk into a Celebrity Homes home and notice the beautiful open floor plan, just know they are there by design for energy efficient purposes as well.
